FirstWave is excited to announce a further extension of its cloud security gateway ‘zero-touch’ orchestration, provisioning and management capabilities for next-generation firewall (NGFW) services delivered to customers in telco and public clouds. Having already integrated Palo Alto Networks® market-leading VM-Series of virtual next-generation firewall appliances with FirstWave’s own unique technologies for orchestration and real-time service ‘Apps’ visibility and control, FirstWave has now also integrated Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS® 8.0 for its NGFW services. PAN-OS 8.0 introduces new VM-Series virtual firewall models, numerous NGFW feature enhancements, and significant throughput performance improvements to help organisations establish an effective and consistent security posture to prevent the most advanced cyberattacks and secure high-performance network, endpoint and cloud environments. The new capabilities of PAN-OS 8.0 in FirstWave’s cloud gateway NGFW services will enable FirstWave’s customers to extend the security of telco, public and private cloud to software as a service (SaaS), detect and stop evasive malware with advanced threat prevention techniques, leverage machine learning, and provide enhanced scale reporting and automation to accelerate logging and reporting. “The integration of the new VM-Series and NGFW features, combined with accelerated throughput performance, announced by Palo Alto Networks with PAN-OS 8.0 represent important additions to our cloud security gateway solution. Having the opportunity to provide our customers with the latest security technology from Palo Alto Networks is a great addition to our recently announced one touch deployments,” added Roger Carvosso, Portfolio and Marketing Director, FirstWave Cloud Technology. “These enhanced services will help build on our current NGFW acquisition rates, and open more Australian and APAC opportunities in the fast growing $600M Asian firewall market*.” Download press release here |
